Don’t Tread on Me…”Nemo me impune lacesset,” i.e. “No one will provoke me with impunity.”

“Statement Regarding Folsom Street Fair

While Miller has supported the Folsom Street Fair for several years, we take exception to the poster the organizing committee developed this year. We understand some individuals may find the imagery offensive and we have asked the organizers to remove our logo from the poster effective immediately.” Miller Brewing Company

This statement posted on the web site for the Miller Brewing Company, is in response to the Folsom Street Fair’s promotional poster. The Poster depicted Di Vinci’s painting of the Last Super. In place of Christ and His disciples, The Fair has placed, Men and women in leather and alternative lifestyle positions…

I find it offensive as do millions of Christians throughout America. It’s unmistakably meant as a stab, at the faith of Christians in particular, with religion aside. The Folsom fair itself is a self-described festival celebrating the personal fetishes of people with alternative lifestyles. Don’t take my word for it. Here it is from the horses mouth, or in this case, from their website. “The mission of Folsom Street Events is to create volunteer-driven leather events that provide the adult alternative lifestyle community with safe venues for self-expression while emphasizing freedom, fun, frolic and fetish.” And the attendees do exactly that. Having made this point. I say, they have a choice, let them live it.

But, when they personally attack my lifestyle, and faith. Then they’re disgustingly stomping on my freedoms and rights. That is what I’m calling the Folsom Street fair Board on. They are flat-out inexcusably Intolerant of Christians and our faith. Had this been a mockery of Islam. Forget that. Never happen. However, Christianity as always with this Alternative Lifestyle Group, is their sadistic prey. I’m Dr Quack with the harsh cry of reason.

  1. Yeah that poster was over the top. Hell, I’m pagan and have little fondness for much of modern Christianity and I’m offended by it!

  2. Castigation and mockery are not respectful. Stepping on your rights ? You just lost me.
