Arizona Republic’s Scare Tactics are Shameful and Disheartening

Is it hypocrisy or irony? After all, Arizona citizens who have read and legislatures who wrote the new immigration law punishing businesses for hiring Illegals which begins in January.  We understand the law and its purposeful meaning, unfortunately thanks to the Arizona Republic, another Gannett propaganda rag, the characters in the tragic Illegal Immigrant Reality Series are themselves lost in a cloud of misinformation, and the truth to power soulful purpose behind the new law.

The bias of the Arizona Republic is so obvious it can blind you from the reality of its bias, which stares at you head on. In Sunday’s Arizona Republic writer Daniel Gonzalez writes his updated article on the new immigration law beginning in January, punishing employers that knowingly hire Illegals. However Mr. Gonzalez puts a scare tactic spin on the title of his article, ‘Migrants lose jobs as hiring law nears.” Need I say more?

Mr. Gonzalez and the Republic want you to believe there is an issue here and that innocent migrants in Arizona are being persecuted and left destitute.  Nothing could be further from the truth, it is shameful and disheartening to see a newspaper once the voice of Arizonan’s, now the smut rag it is today. Every word in Gonzalez’s title is a lie. Migrant, should be Illegal, Lose, no legal migrant will lose a thing. Hiring law, a law that does not apply to legal migrants, only new Illegal hires, by business owners in Arizona. In the same edition of the Republic on Sunday Mary Jo Pitzl writes, “Employer law applies only to new hiring, Pearce says.’ And State Rep. Russell Pearce would know, since he’s the laws primary sponsor. Yet there are many like the Arizona republic and writer Daniel Gonzalez that just can’t tell the truth for the life of themselves. Gonzalez’s slur article is at the top of the list in Sunday’s edition and Pitzl is near the bottom, on the Online Edition. Not sure, but placement of each article was probably similar in the print paper.

There’s no bias from my stance on immigration reform and Illegals in America. You need only go to my archives to read my many opinions and commentaries on this to know exactly where I stand. And today is no different from yesterday. America needs solid and a no-nonsense enforced immigration reform. What to do with the 12-20 million Illegals in America, either legalize them in a simplistic broad sweep leaving out the complexities. Or send them packing for home through no-nonsense get tough enforcement. But do something, afterwards enforce the new laws and tighten the border with sensible controls and enforcement for those who brake the new reformed laws. I’m Dr. Quack with the harsh cry of reason. 112007
