Congressman Joe says so…I still say no…

When you have an exceptional politician like Congressman Joe Sestak (D) (Pennsylvania’s 7th district) taking the view with the Obama Administration that the Detainees from Gitmo and 9/11 conspirators should be trialed in New York Federal  Court as any other American citizen may be with all the same Rights. I must question my own ideology. After all, Joe’s thinking is more passion and ideology based, and that’s better than the politically based ideology behind the decision of the Obama Administration to bring these Terrorists to trial in a New York City Federal court.

The fact is, Dr. Quack is not ideological on this issue, my concerns and opinion are based on Reason. Reading Congressman Sestak’s bio makes for a good novel, and I believe he’s a good man and a great American. However, his passion along with other fellow politicians is truer, then that of his Party’s line regarding the trials, torture, closing of Gitmo, and relocation of detainees. President Obama is being given some bad advice, and pursuing a dangerous course for America by moving these Terrorist trials to New York City. Passion and ideology for the side of good are what we all want. However, this decision announced on Friday past by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is not for the good of America, rather for the good to the Democratic Party’s left, very left, base.

From Congressman Sestak’s ideological reasoning, I can agree to disagree, but we are both being misled by forces currently in power. A force faster and stronger than a moving freight train, determined to change the ideology of our Founding Fathers. The Obama Administration is headed for a collision, into the Great Wall of the People, in this, the greatest nation on earth.

I’m Dr. Quack with the harsh cry of reason…11 15 09.
