Can’t argue, when it comes to some of the decisions made by the Bush Administration. The question is, will President Obama think, and act before disaster befalls our military men and women serving in Afghanistan now? I’m not going to be an armchair quarterback, I don’t have the facts he does, neither do you. I can only pray the President is correct in his hesitation to act.

False, taking time to consider the issues and to have actual plans shows far more respect than presenting false evidence in order to invade a country risking thousands of American soldiers lives. Finally, a president is here that thinks before he acts.

That is a question that solicits a “yes” or “no” answer — not true or false. Had it been worded, “The Obama Administration has nothing but contempt for our Military,” then it would have called for a “true” or “false” response.

The fact is both parties use the old standby “The party out of power always SWEEPS the following off-year election.” I could have copied this from dozens, if not hundreds of columnist’s, bloggers, radio show hosts, and on, and on. It’s a fallback on, cliché, and we’re all guilt of using it at some time, I know I have. The fact is, what makes America great is that the power is in the voice of the people heard through the Ballot Box. We may not agree with the majority, but they are only the majority until the next election. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned in four decades of covering politics in America. Nothing is a Lock, there are no absolutes ever.

As for the Maine’s Question 1 vote defeating and repealing the Legislatures Gay Marriage law. It was a very close election, and in a democracy as ours no legislative body State or Federal should side step the American people by shoving down the throats of the citizenry a law to legislate morality, taxes, and religion. The trouble with Gay marriage amendments that have been before the voters, and those that haven’t, is that they are poorly written and not well conceived with regards to doors they may open, consequences and actions. They push, shove, and demand. It took a good number of Democrat, Liberal, Left leaning citizens of Maine to repeal Question 1, not just conservative right wing, and Republican voters. However, you know that already, good sense would tell you that.

I was indifferent towards the vote on Maine’s Question 1, and I have no prejudice, a term that should not be thrown about, casually. Prejudice is defined; preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Unjust behavior formed on such a basis. Oxford University Press… I’m first, in reason, and have a great deal of experience in the Gay and lesbian communities. You can reason that, I have spent (23) years on the road as a comedian and freelance writer. You can imagine the debate at dinners with friends and family at election time. However, regardless of which view a friend or family member takes, we remember to respect learned opinions as I respect all views here.
I’m Dr. Quack with the harsh cry of reason…11 04 09.

Jersey and Virginia were locks from the beginning. The party out of power always SWEEPS the following off-year election. New York’s 23rd shows just how weak the Fox News Party really is.

I think Obama was smart in ensuring his campaign propaganda was purposefully devoid of substance. The only change I have been able to observe is the amount of pigment between the current president and the president elect.

If you are in the coal mining bizz then vote McCain because Obama has you in his sights to shut you down. PA needs to remember what happened when the steel plant shut down. How many ghost town will Obamas make. If it wasnt for company’s like Phoenix Glass that part of PA would have gone out . You dont kill jobs ,You dont raise taxes and spend more on a weak dollar. YOU CUT TAXES YOU SPEND LESS AND YOU KEEP AMERICANS WORKING.
