Definition of a Duckeon…DUCK (Democracy’s Unrelenting Caretakers Knowingly)
Harold Bloom, a literary and cultural critic, was quoted saying, “We read frequently if unknowingly, in quest of a mind more original than our own.” As a Duckeon and Fellow of DUCK, you have a mind worth seeking. Your thoughts are not enslaved to a particular mind-set, rather your thoughts create a mind-set in others. Your Knowledge is what keeps Democracy free and flowing in America. We as Duckeons don’t admire perfection, but relish the blemishes in our society, because knowledge is not perfect in itself. Therefore we have patience and an understanding within our community that America is still growing and will continue to grow. Provided the elitist from the Left and Right are not given the path to enslave our culture into Classes, Inequalities, Nationalities, Religions and Progressive Self-righteous Hypocritical Loonies.
